Former Liverpool player and current Sky Sports expert Jamie Carragher is drawing the big lines ahead of the weekend’s Premier League game.
“Manchester City vs Liverpool is the biggest rival settlement in English football” is the title of Carragher’s comment published in telegraph Friday.
Forget Manchester United – Arsenal. This is the first time that the top two teams in the league are the two best teams in the world, led by the greatest coaches of this generation, Carragher wrote.
Watch Sunday’s big settlement: Manchester City – Liverpool on Sunday from 4.30pm on TV 2 Sport Premium and Play.
– Is the match appearing in Norway? welcome!
– I can’t say I’m grateful
Faced with the football expert’s claim of 737 football matches for Liverpool, Klopp answers the following.
– yes! We push each other to an incredible level. It’s crazy. It’s sick how stable both teams have been in recent seasons.
What helps you the most in sports is a strong opponent. Perhaps Nadal and Federer would not last long without the competition between them. I can’t say I’m grateful, but it helped in our development.
There is one point difference between the two teams before the giant settlement in Manchester. Both teams made good use of the middle of the week, laying a good foundation for progress in the Champions League.
Jurgen Klopp took advantage of the recent press conference to brag about his colleague in training, Pep Guardiola.
– Pep is the best coach in the world. All OK.
Klopp said Liverpool had mobilized an injury-free squad ahead of Sunday’s game.
– The last time I checked my smartphone, everyone was available.
