Cristiano Ronaldo is receiving harsh criticism from an expert for bad attitudes and fear-mongering at Manchester United.
Cristiano Ronaldo got the start of his dream after returning to Manchester United this summer, but gradually received more criticism.
When Manchester United scored a disappointing 1-1 result against bottom club Newcastle in the previous game on Monday, the Portuguese was unable to vote.
The 36-year-old has on several occasions been criticized for poor body language, something he also received after the match against Newcastle.
– Moan the whole match
Former Aston Villa player and now expert Gabriel Agbonlahor also believes Ronaldo takes too much care of himself, and is creating a fear that has a negative effect on United’s young players.
For me, it seems that Ronaldo only cares about his goals. In the previous match, his achievement filled the entire match, he says football insideAnd he continues:
– He raised his hands in the air because he didn’t get a chance. After the match he ran off the field and sobbed and I can imagine he just sat and moaned in the locker room too.
Agbonlahor believes that Ronaldo’s bad attitudes affect the United team, especially the young players.
If I were Rashford, Greenwood, and Sancho, I would have been afraid of being shot. Every time they shoot, he raises his arms and says, “Why didn’t you focus me?”
He thinks Ronaldo should be rejected
The Aston Villa legend believes Ronaldo’s return to Manchester United has led to a poor performance for several United players.
– The harmony in the wardrobe is incorrect. Men like Rashford and Greenwood have fared worse since Ronaldo joined the club. They cannot express themselves, as if they are thinking: “I have to focus Ronaldo, I have to create an opportunity for Ronaldo,” he says.
– Before Ronaldo came, Greenwood challenged opponents and shot, but he doesn’t do it anymore, and he ran off the field during the break. If I had been in Rashford or Greenwood or Sancho, I would have said to myself, “Why did we have to bring him here?”
Agbonlahor believes it is time for United boss Ralf Rangnick to sack Ronaldo as United’s number one player.
– He’s a great player who had a great career, but he’s not the same player he used to be. United played their best this season against Chelsea with Ronaldo on the bench, he says, before concluding with the following:
Rashford, Greenwood and Sancho can play as the front three. If the manager thinks of anything, Ronaldo will fall in the next match.
The next match for Manchester United will be against Burnley on Thursday evening. The match starts at 21.15 and you can follow the match live at the Nettavisen Stadium.
