Several international media outlets wrote on Friday evening that Kenan Cahill had passed away.
Cahill’s manager told TMZ that the 27-year-old underwent heart surgery on Dec. 15, and complications arose that he was put on a ventilator.
Cahill died Thursday as a result of interrupted treatment at a Chicago hospital, writes TMZ.
When he was 15 years old, he turned his so-called “lipsync” into hit songs, becoming world famous.
After that, he collaborated with many big stars like 50 Cent, Ariana Grande, David Guetta, and Justin Bieber – just to name a few.

He was diagnosed with Marotolamy disease at the age of one. It is an inherited metabolic disease that causes short stature, coarse facial features, abnormal growth of bones in the hands and feet, and reduced joint movement.
In an interview with VG in 2011 He told Cahill about living with the disease:
– For me, it’s totally normal because I’ve always felt that way. I’ve had nine major surgeries and have to take medication. But it is part of my life. I feel really lucky to have this disease. Without her, I wouldn’t have met all the amazing people. For example, I’ve met many cancer patients and know what they go through, so I feel lucky, he said, among other things.
In the interview, he also said that he decided very early on what would be his life motto.
– I know I’m different, but that never stopped me, he said and continued:
My life motto has always been to never tell me I can’t do something. So I feel like a role model. My mom just said I should think about all those boys who thought they couldn’t do things because they were different, but then they can look at me and what I’ve accomplished.
