Cahill’s manager told TMZ that the 27-year-old underwent heart surgery on Dec. 15, and complications arose that he was put on a ventilator.

– For me, it’s totally normal because I’ve always felt that way. I’ve had nine major surgeries and have to take medication. But it is part of my life. I feel really lucky to have this disease. – I know I’m different, but that never stopped me, he said and continued:
My life motto has always been to never tell me I can’t do something. So I feel like a role model. My mom just said I should think about all those boys who thought they couldn’t do things because they were different, but then they can look at me and what I’ve accomplished.
