Robertson and Szoboszlai could play against Norwich, but it remains uncertain when Trent will return

Andy Robertson finally returned to the team after his long-term shoulder injury when Liverpool faced Fulham on Wednesday night, but he was on the bench for the entire match.

Dominik Szoboszlai and Trent Alexander-Arnold have not trained since the winter break, while Thiago Alcantara and Stefan Bajcetic are still suffering from injuries that have kept them out for most of the season.

In the press conference before the Norwich match, Klopp gave an update on the injury situation.

Szoboszlai could make Norwich game doubtful – Trent

Roberson, Szoboszlai and Alexander-Arnold could all feature, but Klopp suggests it will come too soon for some of them.

– Everyone has a chance to play the match, but we have to wait and see. Robbo is fit and it was good for him to be in the lineup again against Fulham. He's training as usual, and so is Dom starting tomorrow (Friday).

– With Trent, we have to wait and see if he is ready for Norwich or for the next match. Maybe he will be with us on Friday, so I will decide then,” said Taker Press conference Thursday.

– It would have helped a lot if they could all contribute, but we'll see.

Mohamed Salah returned to Merseyside after suffering an injury during the Africa Cup of Nations. Klopp said that he could return to the national team if he was cleared before the end of the tournament.

We have a season to play and we hope to recover for him, but if he recovers before Egypt exits the tournament, he will return to them. It's a win-win.

Tsimikas, Bagcitic and Thiago are not far behind

Thiago has missed the entire season due to a hip injury sustained during his time at Liverpool, while Bajcetic has been suffering from a growing calf injury that has kept him sidelined since September. Kostas Tsimikas injured his collarbone against Arsenal just before Christmas and is set to play again.

All three should be close to being able to play again, but Klopp has been unable to come up with any concrete time perspective.

Kostas is in good health, but is waiting for the green light. The leg needs time to heal. He can train. I hope Thiago and Stefan will be back soon too.
