Late Saturday evening, Magne General Manager Jordan Nilsen confirmed this information to TV2.
– I can confirm that we have a positive Covid test on 10 players in the team. Two new today at the latest. Moreover, I do not want to go into more detail because the situation is not clear at the moment, he writes in an SMS to TV2.
At 11pm on a Saturday night, it’s hard to predict how much this will affect the start of the series on Monday in Åråsen.
Prepare for battle
In Åråsen they already built the start of the series on Monday to be a soccer party. 8,000 tickets sold out soon.
As of today, the message to fans is that they are preparing for the match.

Doubts about the fight
However, TV 2 football expert Jesper Mathisen doubts the match will go ahead as planned on Monday.
– With so many players injured, I think there is little chance of the game going as planned, says Mathisen.
He’s excited about what the clubs and the NFL will transmit on Sunday – the day before the series starts.
