Pandora’s box is already open. We didn’t open it. Some “Kremlin towers” decided to play dangerous games.
This is what the leader of the Wagner Group, Yevgeny Prigozhin, said in an audio message on cable Saturday.
Here he claims that an unnamed faction within the Kremlin is trying to sow discord between him and the Chechen forces.
He further warns that if they continue, they will “pay hell”.

In the letter, the founder of the Wagner Group claimed that there was a disagreement between him and the Chechen forces, but he claimed that these differences have now been resolved.
According to Prigozhin, the factions in the Kremlin, which he thus refers to as the “Kremlin towers”, are responsible for these disagreements.
He also claims that this faction’s planning went so far that Putin had to reprimand them at a Security Council meeting.
– Dangerous games have become popular in the towers of the Kremlin .. They are simply destroying the Russian state, he says Prigozhin.
The Kremlin has not yet commented on the statements.
Continuous attacks
He also made several other statements on Saturday, after which he addressed the Russian defense and its ability to defend the Russian border town of Belgorod.
On Friday, the Russian army was also accused of trying to publicly punish Wagner’s soldiers by mining the road they used to withdraw from Bakhmut.
In light of these statements, Tom Rosth, Principal Lecturer in Intelligence and Head of the Ukraine Program at the Norwegian Defense Academy (FHS), said the following about the extent to which Prigozhin allows himself criticism and accusations against Russia’s top leadership:
– I think Prigozhin knows he has a lot of leeway. That’s because the Wagner Group is an important tool for Russia in conflicts in the Middle East and Africa. Through the Wagner Group, Russia can promote its interests. In this sense, Prigozhin has a lot to get on with Putin.

Kadyrov’s men criticize her
On Friday, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that Chechen forces launched an offensive near the town of Marinka in the Donetsk region.
Earlier this week, Ramzan Kadyrov, the acting president of the Russian republic of Chechnya, said that Chechen forces had been assigned major responsibility for the Donetsk front in the east of the country.
At the same time, the feud between the two mercenary groups continued.
Two of Kadyrov’s closest associates, Adam Delimkhano and Magomed Daudov, posted videos on Telegram on Thursday in which they made disparaging remarks about the Wagner chief.
– It exceeds all limits
Delimkhanov directly addressed Prigozhin, who he believed was “just complaining about the problems”, in a video message.
– If you don’t understand, you can contact us and give us the time and place. Delimkhanov said: Then we can explain to you what you do not understand.
