– There was a lot more to do than usual. Now we’ve gone through over 200 treatments, and the event isn’t over yet.

Anders Oustorp, supervisor of the Red Cross Relief Corps in Oslo, told NTB at 10.15pm, just over fifteen minutes before the end of this year’s VG-lista event at City Hall Square in Oslo.

He stressed that so far, no serious accidents have been reported.

– I think those who were here were incredibly good at getting water. I don’t have numbers on how many glasses we handed out, but there are a lot of them. In addition, young people are very good at nurturing and helping each other, Ostorp says.

The police assure VG that many people need health supervision.

– It was mostly caused by intoxication and the hot temperature, says Operations Manager Ron Hecklestrand.

The event is drawing to a close, and the police have a clear plea for people who want to get home quickly:

– Go to Jernbanetorget! The National Theater station is usually crowded, and Stortinget station is closed.

The Operations Manager confirms that the event went very well.

No major disturbances occurred.
