Max Verstappen (26) won qualifying in Miami ahead of Charles Leclerc (26). But the talking point was the drivers talking.
There was a lot of complaining among the drivers in Miami qualifying. Viaplay expert Thomas Shi is upset about this:
– They complain about each other unnecessarily. Others should be allowed on the field too!
After Charles Leclerc complained about Lance Stroll pulling out ahead of him in the pit lane, Shi shouted:
– This bothers me as much as shooting in football bothers me. They should stop complaining about everything and focus on driving on the right track.
Max Verstappen has claimed his seventh consecutive pole position, six of them in 2024. The record belongs to Ayrton Senna with eight. Lewis Hamilton, Michael Schumacher and Alain Prost also have seven goals in a row.

In all, this is Verstappen's 38th place. He has 58 race wins.
McLaren arrived in Miami with many improvements to the car, and the drivers asserted themselves well in qualifying on Saturday night. They will start alongside each other on the third row on Sunday: Lando Norris in fifth and Oscar Piastri in sixth.
Max Verstappen won the sprint race earlier on Saturday as he wanted. Charles Leclerc and Sergio Perez followed closely behind.
The race was a complete disaster for Mercedes drivers Lewis Hamilton (39) and George Russell (26).
Daniel Ricciardo was the big surprise in the sprint race in fourth place. After a difficult start, he became stronger and stronger. But in qualifying for the Grand Prix, he actually retired in Q1.
– The tires didn't work. I have no explanation why, he tells ViaPlay.
Verstappen won last year's Formula 1 race in Miami. Sergio Perez took a double win for Red Bull, while Aston Martin's Fernando Alonso finished third.
