At the same time as the stars approach Italy, danger warnings align in the north, with strong winds, snow and rain.

The weather was also wintry when Bodø/Glimt made their preparations for Aspmyra this morning.

Sky Sports Italia journalist Mirco Caiano watched the exercises from the sidelines, shivering.

He’s somewhat excited about how the away team handles the weather north of the Arctic Circle.

From 25 degrees to minus degrees

– It’s very cold. The temperature in Italy is 25 degrees and the sun is now, smiling sweetly at NRK as the wind shakes the roof.

The team from Rome goes down at 19 tonight. Shortly thereafter, coach Jose Mourinho will hold a press conference at Aspmyra to talk about tomorrow’s match.

You can watch this press conference live on NRK’s website.

– I think it will be difficult for Roma tomorrow during the match, explains Keanu and aims for the cold.

Glimt coach Kjetil Knutsen does not believe in this premise. He led his team through a training session in strong winds and icy rain.

After that, he had a chat with NRK in the wind.

“It will probably come as a surprise to Roma when they land in Bodo, but it’s very rare to do something with the weather,” he smiles.

– Northern lights not strong winds

Bodo/Glimt held a press conference at 2 p.m. today. You can watch it in replays here.

Knutsen says they are very much looking forward to measuring forces against the fourth-placed team in Serie A.

We meet a very good team with very good individual players. How well we can solve it, we’ll get an answer tomorrow, but there’s still a lot to learn.

– How do you prepare players for what is the Battle of the Century for Glimt?

– We don’t build on what it is TheKnutsen smiles and adds:

We are well prepared and looking forward. If we do our best, we have good chances. The audience will see Bodo/Glimt as they are used to seeing us, i.e. attack.

– Is the wind an advantage for you?

– Both teams love to play football, but now it’s blowing in all directions. To be completely honest, I would have preferred Rome to experience the northern lights and a wonderful northern Norwegian autumn day.

Looking forward to meeting Mourinho

Captain Patrick Berg is also looking to gauge forces with the Italians.

– We deserved to have these matches. The most important thing is that we dare to be ourselves. “We will also dominate in these matches,” he said at the press conference.

– It’s a great day for Bodo as a city and for Glimt as a club. We have nothing to lose and we just have to enjoy it.

Football fever in Bodø. At the same time, Kjetil Knutsen is concerned about not focusing too much on who she meets.

We must maintain our composure and not respect the opponent too much.

How will you meet Mourinho?

It’ll probably be fun for me and Mourinho, Knutsen smiles.
