Eliteserien, Football | Nettavisen sources: Morten Björlow agrees with Rosenborg

Morten Björlow did not come to terms with HamKam on a new agreement this fall and is therefore Bosman’s player of the new year.

Now Rosenborg and Alesund have made offers and, according to Nettavisen’s information, the 27-year-old has decided to move to Trondheim.

There he meets again with Kjetil Rekdal, who coached Bjørlo and HamKam to promotion in the 2021 season. Bjørlo is said to have been offered a two-year contract with RBK, which he accepted.

He is due to travel to Trondheim early on Friday to complete a mandatory medical and, if successful, sign a contract.

Red Arbidblad RBK’s interest in Bjørlo was only mentioned earlier this week. At that time, Rosenborg had not made an official offer for the midfielder, but now there are only small details left before he becomes an official player of RBK.

The former Strømmen player has become a regular at HamKam this fall, after missing most of the spring season due to injuries.

The midfielder started his career at Staal Jørpeland and has since played for Sola, Egersund, Nest-Sotra and Strommen, before ending up at Hamar.
