Erna Solberg was more famous than Storr as Prime Minister

Who is best suited for the post of Prime Minister in Norway? Erna Solberg has established a firm grip on the electorate in her battle with Jonas Gahr Støre.

Voters from the Center Party aren't so keen on the Jonas Kar store.

Short version

This is shown by a new poll conducted by Norstat for NRK and Aftenposten.

The right-wing leader held a solid lead for Støre until last year's election. However, that gap closed when the extent of Solberg's talent became known.

Suddenly Storr was as famous as Solberg. He is not now.

For the third month in a row, Solberg has a clear lead in the store. This is the same size as before Syndre Fins' extensive stock trading was known.

Background statistics from the survey also tell which voters prefer the two candidates.

As is well known, Støres Ap forms the government together with the Center Party. However, the latter voters don't seem particularly enthusiastic about the country's prime minister.

Only half of the SP's voters believe Storr is best suited to be prime minister. In fact, 2 in 10 think Solberg is right.

3 out of 10 don't know.

The MDGs lean to the left

The Green Party recently came out and said it would not nominate either Solberg or Storr before next year's election.

The survey shows that 6 out of 10 MDG voters think Støre is very suitable. 1 in 4 MDG-ers point to Solberg.

Støre was not popular with Rødt's voters either. Only 56 percent responded that the store was the best fit. 41 percent don't know.

On the non-socialist side, currently only the KrF has indicated Solberg as its prime ministerial candidate. 74 percent of KrF voters believe he is the right one.

The Left is currently in high-wait mode. They are currently awaiting the final results of the Storting's control investigation into Solberg's eligibility case.

The poll shows that only 6 in 10 liberal voters believe Solberg is right. 1 in 4 answers they don't know.

3 out of 4 FRP voters believe Solberg is the right woman for the job.
