Hovland in the first division at the end of the season

Golfer Viktor Hovland had a great round on the European Tour in Dubai. He is in the Al-Nasr match in the season final after two rounds.

After hitting three under par in the first round, where he also missed a number of birdie putts, Hovland was very strong in Friday’s round. Six under-par shots saw him finish the round nine-under-par overall.

The 26-year-old had seven birdies and one bogey on Friday. Currently, it is in joint management with two others. Some players have several holes remaining in the second round.

This weekend’s tournament is the last of the season on the European Tour. It’s already clear that Northern Irishman Rory McIlroy will win the European Tour overall this season.

Hovland has put behind him an impressive season, ending up victorious in the PGA Qualifiers. The last tournament he played was the Ryder Cup in Rome in September.
