LONDON/OSLO (VG) (Arsenal-Bodeau/Glimt 3-0) Arsenal have given Bodeau/Glimt a tough run in London, but manager Mikel Arteta believes Ketel Knutzen’s men deserve credit.
Just look at what the team has done under him with the resources they have. The way they play and how brave they are here today. They tried to play their own game. They’re well organized and I love them, Arteta replied at the press conference afterward, when VG asked him what he thought of the job Knutsen did in the yellow shirts.

Knutsen has been linked to several managerial vacancies in the Premier League, among other places, and if Arteta is to be believed, his interest will not wane. Towards the end of the press conference, he repeated his admiration for his opponent and fellow coach.

However, Knutsen was not satisfied with that Glimt was delivered at the Emirates Stadium in London.
– Not at first. We got away really well in the first quarter, but maybe we were too busy and forgot the last 30 minutes. It’s nice to hear (arteta’s praise), but for me, we must dare to play. If you do not dare to play at this level, you will not have to appear even once.

He was particularly unhappy in the first 45 minutes, and then things went smoothly for the away team.
