Jennifer Lopez cancels her concerts after the failure of her album

Jennifer Lopez (54 years old) cancels seven concerts from her “This Is Me… Now” tour. This was reported by a number of American media outlets, including: diverse.

Ticketmaster has reportedly served notice of cancellation of concerts in Nashville, Raleigh, Atlanta, Tampa Florida and New Orleans. Additionally, previously announced concerts in Cleveland and Houston have been removed from the website.

The concerts were supposed to be held between August 20 and 31. But the tour now ends in New York on August 17.

In a letter to Ticketmaster, it appears that the organizer is behind the cancellation. Beyond that, it is unknown why the concerts were cancelled.

This news comes in the wake of a number of American media outlets referring to Lopez's latest album as a failure. “This Is Me… Now” debuted at number 38 on the Billboard 200 chart.

Lopez will still perform about 30 concerts during the tour, but according to Variety, ticket sales have not increased.

“A large number of tickets for most concerts are still available,” they wrote.

The artist has not yet commented on the cancellations.
