The Times and Sky Sports reported that Manchester United would not be happy with star player Cristiano Ronaldo (37).
The newspaper also wrote that Manchester United players and support staff are losing patience with striker Cristiano Ronaldo.
“Eric Ten Hag’s coaching staff, and the players on the Manchester United squad, are growing increasingly frustrated with Cristiano Ronaldo’s behavior as his future threatens to plunge the club further into crisis.”
The Times cites closed sources describing Ronaldo’s mood as consistently bad. After the loss to Brentford, several English media outlets pointed to the fact that Ronaldo did not seem particularly interested in speaking to Tin Hag or his assistant Steve McClaren on his way off the field. McLaren seemed to want Ronaldo to go and thank the fans for their support.
Sky Sports reports that Manchester United are considering ending Ronaldo’s contract. On the other hand, Samuel Lockhurst, a journalist for the local Manchester Evening News, signs Twitter The club should deny reports that they are considering terminating the contract.
Ronaldo reportedly wanted to leave United this summer, but entered the first round of the series (1-2 loss to Brighton) and got a chance right from the start on Saturday without impressing. One year left on his contract.
Recently, Ten Hag said that Ronaldo is not for sale. Meanwhile, interest among other clubs is lukewarm, according to The Times.
Earlier this summer, Ten Hag came out and described Ronaldo’s behavior as unacceptable. Ronaldo and several other United players left Old Trafford before the end of the training match against Rayo Vallecano.
Last summer, he brought Manchester United from Juventus. He became the club’s top scorer with 18 goals. The red jerseys season was disappointing and finished in sixth place.
Ten Hag said on Saturday the club needed new players – especially offensive ones – before the transfer window closes on September 1. Eight players have left the club this summer, while Christian Eriksen, Alessandro Martinez and Terrell Malacia are the only ones to enter.
