Mike Tyson (58 years old), the former world heavyweight boxing champion, hopes to achieve a “knockout” with a new cannabis candy that he designed in the shape of a half-eaten ear.

The strange product is a tribute to his memorable match during his career, as many media outlets such as NBC News And Sky News.

It raises concern


During the WBA heavyweight championship in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1997, Tyson bit off a small piece of his rival Evander Holyfield's ear.

The candy was launched by the Tyson 2.0 brand, the former boxer's cannabis company.

Hemp candy looks, smells, and tastes like regular candy. The noticeable difference is that cannabis candy contains the active cannabinoid tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), which gets you high.

Consumers in the United States can legally enjoy the “Blackeye Berry,” “Sour Apple Cider,” and “Watermelon” flavors.

The former boxer himself also came out on X earlier in March and flaunted his latest product.

“These ears actually taste good,” he wrote in one post.

The fight between Tyson and Holyfield in June 1997 went down in history as one of the most famous boxing matches of all time.

In the third round, after Tyson bled from his eye after being scalped, he responded by biting off Holyfield's ear.

He later stated that he lost his temper during the match when he was bald without the referee's intervention.

Tyson retired as a professional boxer in 2005 with 50 wins under his belt.

Earlier this month, it was also announced that he would face YouTuber and boxer Jake Paul in the ring. It has been announced that the match will be shown on Netfilx later this year.
