This photo, and a photo of the Princess of Wales and little Louis, was released on Sunday Twitter and on the Prince and Princess of Wales Official Instagram account.
Neither image has been previously announced.
They were taken last fall in connection with the Prince and Princess of Wales’ 2022 Christmas card photo shoot. The photos were taken at the family’s country home, Anmer Hall, in Norfolk.
Photographer Matt Porteous. Tatler Magazine Porteous, he writes, is like a permanent photographer to the Prince and Princess of Wales.
He has taken pictures of the royal family on several important occasions – like when Prince Louis was christened.
The British royal family also shared a photo of King Charles and the now-deceased Queen Elizabeth for Mother’s Day:
