Issues again: A number of users reported issues with apps owned by Facebook on Friday night.

After a few days of Facebook platforms having major problems, it’s happening again.


Downdetector, Friday evening, reported a number of error messages for Facebook, WhatsApp, Messenger and Instagram.

It is not currently clear what the problems are due to this time. Later Friday night, reports of disruptions began to subside across platforms.

On Monday, millions of users around the world had to find other things to do, as the app giants lay on hold for more than six hours.

The downtime affected not only the users of the applications, but also the employees of the company.

The company then explained that the problems were caused by changes in the configuration of the underlying network routers that coordinate network traffic between data centers.

According to Facebook, there is no indication that user data has been leaked as a result of Monday’s crash.
