Teresa Giudice, 51, of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” fame, recently shared her surprising experiences from her time behind prison walls.

After her release in December 2015, she has now taken the paper from her mouth.

On a recent episode of the podcast “Raw Hollywood” The 51-year-old star revealed several surprising things.

“Actually, I have to say the food was really good,” Giudice revealed to the podcast hosts.

The “Real Housewives” star had to spend eleven months in prison on fraud charges related to the bankruptcy of her ex-husband Joe Giudice, 51.

Moreover, she revealed in the podcast that she became an enthusiastic participant in the kitchen when it was allowed. Stjerna claims to have cooked for up to 200 fellow prisoners.

Dinners were prepared with the ingredients on hand for the day, but Giudice's specialty was a chicken dish that was a hit with her fellow prisoners.

-The food was very good, my favorite thing when I first got there was the banana walnut pancakes. “I was eating banana walnut muffins every morning before they ran out, and then I got really angry,” she said.

Giudice, who now looks back on her time in prison with many fond memories, is no longer afraid to talk about her time behind closed doors.

She also revealed that she still keeps in touch with her roommate who was a politician at the time.

However, she remains confident in her case that she is not guilty in any way, and believes the judge will make an example of her.
