Sweden’s TV4 drops host Anders Öfvergård from future TV shows after an episode at a staff party.

– It’s about someone who behaves unacceptably, says program director Vivica Hanson on TV4 express.

According to the newspaper, the Swedish TV profile was said to have raised her voice and ended up in a physical confrontation with a female colleague when she tried to stop him from driving while drunk.

The episode is said to have taken place during the closing party for “Robinson” in the Dominican Republic.

– It is true that I was unpleasant. I have apologized and will gladly do so. It didn’t work well for me and I’m sorry about that, says Öfvergård in an SMS to Expressen.

He is known as the host of the Swedish version of “Sinnasnekker’n” and leads the series “Anders og volden”, which begins on Tuesday, September 21.

He was also supposed to be the host of “Sweden’s Worst Drivers”, but after accusations TV4 rejected him from the job.

– We take what’s happening very seriously, and so far we won’t go into new productions with this file, says Hanson, who describes it as a “difficult decision.”

– It’s about someone who behaves unacceptably, but is also appreciated, she adds.

Robinson 2022 has already been registered and will be broadcast with Öfvergård as host.
