A lot of people shoved their morning coffee down their throats when suddenly, just over a year ago Prices cut sharply on the Model Y – Up to NOK 120,000 per model.
Since then, the company has adjusted prices several times, and will reportedly do so again on Friday.
But as far as we know, this is the first time Tesla has announced a price increase in advance. On Twitter/X, Tesla's European division posted the following:
Immediately afterwards, it was published that the price increase would amount to around €2,000, or NOK 23,000 at today's exchange rate.
500 Norwegian Model Y owners: This is what they think of their car
Now it must be said that Tesla does not write about which countries the price changes apply to, so whether the change also applies to Norway will be revealed on Friday.
Prices as of today are from NOK 442,521 for the rear-wheel drive version, NOK 536,387 for the Long Range and NOK 574,121 for the Performance version. In other words, if you're thinking about buying one, you might be foolish to wait.
