With a view of the fjord and mountains beyond, the Danish designers at Mette Fredskild Studio drew inspiration from local traditions with a range of local traditional outfits, which include indigo, cobalt and blue, as well as warm colors like violet, brown and a deep red. The murals in the common rooms have been done by local artists Alice Kvalvik and Jonathan Broca, and give a playful impression of Tromsø life and the surrounding environment.
