According to the celebrity website, the superstar couple must be paying a staggering amount for the luxurious home.
sources say TMZ that artists Beyonze and Jay-Z have paid $200 million for the property — which equates to more than NOK 2 billion.
The celebrity website refers to it as “one of the nation’s greatest architectural masterpieces.”
The home is said to be the most expensive ever sold in California. In addition, it will be the second most expensive real estate sale in the country.
However, TMZ wrote that the couple struck a “good deal.” The house was actually priced at $295 million.
Japanese architect
The house has an area of 30,000 square meters and overlooks the Pacific Ocean. It is located in Paradise Cove district of Malibu. The place is also called “Billionaire’s Row,” according to TMZ.
Japanese architect Tadao Ando designed the house. The house was once owned by art collector William Bell.
Jay-Z and Beyoncé have been married since 2008 and have three children together, Blue Ivy and twins Sir Carter and Rumi.
