Miami-based mobile phone manufacturer Yezz is hard at work developing new modules for Project Ara modular smartphone. The company aims at getting modules ready for the Ara market pilot launch in Puerto Rico to be kicked off later this year. Some of the very first prototypes of Yezz modules created with the help of 3D-printing technology were introduced at MWC 2015 in Barcelona at the beginning of March. A month later Yezz revealed drawings of 28 module concepts for Project Ara.
Yezz designers did not stop there and unveiled another 28 module concepts, among which are keyboard case, mini scale, light exposimeter, laser pointer, fingerprint ID reader and several others.
