The police received information about the incident at 5.38 pm on Monday.

– Police write that a minor boy was assaulted, threatened and robbed by several people at a playground in Gvernevik.

Police are now questioning the boy at the scene with his parents, who wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.

– His visible injuries after the incident. The boy has some marks on his skin, but should be in apparently good condition. Olaug Bjørnsen, Operations Manager at the Sør-West Police District, tells Nettavisen that it is too early to say whether he will undergo a health check.

– What property did the criminals carry?

– I don’t want to go into details as the investigation is ongoing. I can confirm that we are looking for several criminals, Bjornsen replied.

– Are criminals also minors?

– It’s not clear yet. The victim is under the criminal minimum age, the operations manager insists.

At 19.03, the police said they received information about the theft of two boys.

– It has been reported that children under the age of two have been robbed. One of the two will be taken to the emergency room for evaluation, police wrote in X.
