Not in: Christopher Agger (front) was there when Ståle Solbakken made his upcoming national team squad this week, but injury is keeping him out.

National team manager Stahl Solbakken has already expressed his concerns about defenders, and that was not diminished when centre-back Christopher Ager (24) was not in the Brentford squad on Wednesday.


The Norwegian has been missing through injury and, as far as VG knows, everything indicates that the 24-year-old will have to miss the two international matches that start the EC qualifiers: away against Spain (March 25) and away against Georgia (March 28).

Brentford’s Danish coach Thomas Frank stated in his own press conference after Wednesday’s league match away from Southampton that it was a calf injury.
