Exciting scenes unfolded during the ongoing European Team Athletics Championships in Chorzow, Poland on Saturday.

Touching message
After an injury to Anne Zagrey on the Belgian track and field team, he had to withdraw – this resulted in an injury to putter putter Julien Bomko (29) and he had to stand on the starting line in the 100m hurdles (!).
– The strange scenes shocked everyone, the Swedish newspaper wrote Express.

And how did Bomko go – you might ask?
The 29-year-old finished, perhaps unsurprisingly, in the decisive last place.
Already after the first hurdle, the putter was behind center field.
With a time of 32.81, Bomko finished 19 seconds behind Sweden’s Maja Maunsbach, who finished second.

However, the effort was not in vain.
Completing Belgium means two more points – which could be crucial in the nation’s fight to stay in the top flight, according to Expressen.
Team EC ends on Sunday.
