The cup final in men’s soccer drew just over 200,000 viewers on NRK, according to Kampanje.
the site NRK reported that the average was 211,000 online and TV viewers when Brann beat Lillestrøm 2-0 on Saturday. Last year, the cup final between Bodo/Glimt and Molde was watched by 281,000 people.
Viewership was 69 per cent, higher than the previous three cup finals. This indicates that many Norwegians have other things to do on Saturday afternoon.
In the previous two years, the cup final was played in the spring rather than at the end of the season.
In 2018, there were an average of 514,000 viewers with a viewership rating of 58.2 percent, Kampangi writes.
The cup final was also broadcast on the radio. There, NRK reported that there were 96,000 unique listeners during the match. (NTB)
