Last week, we wrote about several people who complained that Apple’s latest iPhone 15 was overheating.
The iPhone 15 and 15 Pro went on sale just a few weeks ago, and it didn’t take several days for new owners to start posting on social media that they found the phones so hot that they couldn’t hold them.
In Apple’s own Discussion forum She showed several signs of anxiety.
– welcome. I recently bought a new iPhone 15 Pro Max and it gets hot even when I’m not using it. I was wondering if anyone else has this problem or if there is a setting causing this that I could turn off? All advice is appreciated, writes the topic author.
-I just got my iPhone 15 Pro today, and it’s so hot that I can’t hold it for long at a time! I hope they fix this, someone answers.
Confirm the error
However, Apple has now confirmed the error. The heating issues are supposedly caused by a bug in iOS 17 and third-party apps. Reports Forbes.
According to the newspaper, Apple issued the following statement:
– We’ve identified some conditions that can cause your iPhone to heat up more than expected. Your device may become warmer during the first few days after you restore your device due to increased background activity.
The error should be corrected
Apple also adds that it has found a bug in iOS 17 that affects some users and will be addressed in a software update.
Another issue is related to some recent updates of third-party apps like Instagram, Uber, and Asphalt, which cause overload on the system.
The company is working with these app developers on fixes that are underway, Forbes wrote.
It was originally expected that the new titanium frame on the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max would be to blame for the heat issues, but that doesn’t appear to be the case.
