Big stars moved from Hollywood to New York on Monday in what may be the biggest celebrity event of the year. At the Met Gala, celebrities showed up in their wildest, most beautiful, and most outrageous outfits while photographers snapped photos until they cramped.

Photos of the expensive runner are spreading online and on social media, including a photo of “Firework” singer Katy Perry (39 years old). But now it's sparking total confusion: it turns out the 39-year-old wasn't present at all.
Clueless roll around
On Instagram, the artist shared a series of photos of what the singer looks like in Monday's runner. These have been proven to be made by artificial intelligence.
“I couldn't attend the MET and had to work,” the 39-year-old wrote in the photo circle.
If you scroll further through the photos, you can see a screenshot of the star's message exchange with Perry's mother, who saw photos of her daughter from the Met Gala.
“I didn't know you went to the Met. What a beautiful dress. You look like a rose parade. You look like your own float,” Perry's mother wrote in a text message to her daughter.
“Mama, the AI (artificial intelligence, jour.note) tricked you too, be careful!”
Many media outlets reported the fake photos, including the people.
In the same photo, the “Wide Awake” singer shares a video of himself in the music studio, which apparently explains his absence.

In the comments section, many people say they were scammed by the photos.
“OMG, have you been in the studio????” says one follower.
Another wrote: “Key, you fooled us baby.”
“I thought you teleported,” confesses a third.
Luxurious dresses
Perry has attended the Met Gala several times, often attracting attention with her unique creations.
Among other things, the runner wore a graffiti dress, a red veil that covered the entire body and huge wings. In 2019, she appeared dressed as a chandelier, and at the following party she changed into a hamburger costume.
