I was going to drive the truck - it got stuck vertically

On Wednesday morning, the truck driver was supposed to drop a load and then drive down the highway in Canada.

Things didn’t quite go according to plan and the driver ended up having a bad day at work when the truck got stuck vertically in the bridge.

Writes CTV Toronto News.

It is not known what happened

The trailer driver forgot to lower the pallet after unloading the contents of a nearby construction site, and drove while the container was upright.

The driver then hit a bridge crossing Highway 401 in Mississauga shortly before 7:30 a.m., according to Ontario Provincial Police.

– The box has been lifted and tied while moving and is empty. He had dug himself into concrete in the left lane, police told CTV News.

The eastbound fast lanes were closed while crews removed the cargo plane with a crane.

Police say no injuries were reported after the accident, but the bridge sustained some physical damage.

After reporting the accident to the police Twitter profileMany comments came about the rather special event.

Many are wondering, among other things, how it is possible to forget about lowering the pallet before driving.

“My car has so many sensors that it knows if I’ve farted, but truckers don’t know if their ghost flat is down?” writes one.

Others claim that the trucks lack several potentially important safety features, while some believe a defect in the vehicle may be the cause.

Another wrote on Twitter: “Truck manufacturers are years behind on technology.”

The truck driver is now tasked with inserting the cargo plane into the bridge, but the content of the cargo has yet to be announced.
