The Israeli Air Force wrote on X/Twitter that it attacked what it described as a “terrorist route” in a tunnel under a mosque in Jenin in the West Bank.

– In the mosque there was a terrorist cell from the terrorist organization Hamas and Islamic Jihad, the Air Force writes on Twitter.

They claim that this cell was about to carry out a terrorist attack.

The Air Force also released photos of what supposedly showed an access hatch to the tunnel beneath the mosque.

The Israeli army announced that it would intensify its air strikes on the Gaza Strip.

– Israeli army spokesman Daniel Hagari said earlier on Saturday: “We will increase the number of attacks and reduce the risks to our forces in the next phase of the war. We will intensify the attacks and they will begin today.”

Chief of Staff Herzi Halevy told his commanders on Saturday that they are planning the long-announced ground invasion of Gaza. He writes CNN.
