The 33-year-old posted a very honest Instagram post this week, in which it was revealed that she has decided to “have children on her own.” But on her third ultrasound, she was told there was no longer a heartbeat.

“Yesterday morning I laughed with a friend and said should I seriously do a show tomorrow without telling the audience that I’m pregnant.” Yesterday afternoon, I was afraid to get through the ceremony without having a meltdown,” she wrote on a photo of her giving a positive pregnancy test.

“This morning I feel like I have no control over my feelings. I may change others to post this. Or maybe not. I actually don’t know.”

The artist also writes that she knows very well that she has to go through a mourning process, but perhaps holding a concert helps her in the process.

Jessie J, whose real name is Jessica Ellen Cornish, explains that having a baby on her own is all she ever wanted, and that life is short.
