20 years after the first showing of the famous comedy “Mean Girls,” audiences around the world are flocking to the nearest cinema to watch the film in a new look.

Like the 2004 original film, viewers follow teenage girl Cady Heron as she trades her idyllic life in Kenya for high school life in the United States. There she quickly fits into North Shore High School's cool girl gang, the Plastics, led by the school's ice queen Regina George.

-I've become sexier over the years


Those who enjoyed the first film will get many pleasant surprises in the 2024 version, including reunions with many of the original cast. Perhaps the biggest surprise comes when the original Cady, played by Lindsay Lohan (37), appears in the scene in which North Shore crushes her rival in a maths competition.

But fans weren't the only ones who got surprises in the new version. Lohan herself was also shocked by a joke that was included in the 2024 movie “Mean Girls.”

– I feel hurt and disappointed

Reverse H! News Lohan's actress says she was hurt by the use of the word “four crotch” in the new movie “Mean Girls.”

– Lindsay was very hurt. I was disappointed by the reference in the movie.

In the scene, rapper Megan Thee Stallion (28) can be seen in the TikTok clip that appears in the film. In the background you can see a picture of the main role, Cady Heron, played by Australian Angourie Rice (23 years old), who has red hair like Lohan.

“Fire crotch,” or “fire step” in Norwegian, is a reference to a statement made by oil heir Brandon Davis, 45, in 2006.

Davis was leaving a nightclub with star sisters Paris, 42, and Nicky Hilton, 40, when he stopped and pouted to several paparazzi in attendance about Lohan. He described its belly as having an “orange smell,” and called it the “fiery step.”

It was known at the time that the atmosphere between Lohan and Paris Hilton was cold. As Davis directed several insults at the “Freaky Friday” star in front of photographers, Hilton laughed from the sidelines.

The nickname stuck and was then used around Lohan in the gossip press.

What the atmosphere between Lohan and Davis will be like in 2024 is unknown. Davis is currently married to “Pretty Little Liars” actress Ashley Benson (34 years old). As for Lohan, she is married to Badr Shammas (37 years old), and she gave birth to her son Louay last year.
