Maxine Klibingaitis: – She died suddenly and unexpectedly

The cause of death is currently unknown.

The death was announced on “The Prisoner’s” Facebook fan page, where she was reported to have died “suddenly and unexpectedly,” the website wrote.

“It is with great sadness that we announce the passing away of actress Maxine Calibengaitis today. Maxine played the beloved Bobby Mitchell in Prisoners, Terry Inglis in Neighbors, and had many other roles on Australian television. Maxine was just 58 years old. We send our condolences to her son Zayn, as well as to family and friends. Rest in peace, Maxine,” the post read, according to The Sun.

She lost her husband


Klibingaitis is also survived by her husband, director Andrew Friedman, whom she married in 1987.

Shortly after the death was announced, Neighbors co-star Stefan Dennis took to Instagram to remember Klibingaitis. He played Paul Robinson, whom Klibingaiti’s character marries.

In the post, he shared a photo of the two actors together.

“So sorry to hear about the sudden death of Maxine Kalebengites. Paul’s first wife. She was so crazy and fun. A really good soul who cares so much,” he wrote in the post.
