New speculation about the next James Bond – NRK Norway – An overview of news from around the country

Speculation has been rife about who the next 007 will be since Daniel Craig announced his retirement from the role of Bond.

Taylor-Johnson has appeared in films and series since the 2000s. He played the young version of Eisenheim's role played by Edward Norton in the 2006 film “The Illusionist” and had the lead role in the “Kick-Ass” films.

An early favorite was the man who played Superman, Sherlock Holmes, and The Witcher, Henry Cavill. He has commented on the rumors several times. He said among other things GQ In 2020:

Others frequently mentioned include Damson Idris, known from Snowfall, James Norton, from Happy Valley, and well-known stars such as Tom Hardy, Idris Elba and Chris Evans.

Former Bond actor Pierce Brosnan has said that both “Bridgerton” star Regé-Jean Page and Oscar-winner Cillian Murphy for “Oppenheimer” would be great in the role.
