Nordstrand, Car | He ran on four wheels to Camila and family in Abildzou: – Be careful

(Nordstrand's Magazine): “Professional thieves stole our tires last night. We advise everyone in the area to be vigilant”.

This is how Camilla's Facebook post began on a Sunday morning in one of the many local Facebook groups.

In addition, she shared photos of the family car, which is beautifully placed on top of stone blocks. Where once there were some good tires and rims, now there is only wheel suspension.

She was out for a walk with her dog when she noticed the car was a little different, she tells Nordstrands Blade.

– Often, the wheels are already over national boundaries. We've checked Finn so far without success, but will follow up.

– He explains that they have used professional equipment and know what they are doing, because the car is so heavy that a normal jack is of no use.

– Safe passage

When Nordstrands Blad spoke to her, the family was waiting for a tow truck. The police rushed there and secured the clues.

– We received the message around 08.30 on Sunday morning. We've been there and secured the traces, and now we're asking neighbors who have cars with cameras or doorbells, operations manager Vidar Pedersen tells Nordstrands Plat.

He says it is currently uncertain whether this has happened often and whether the thieves resell the wheels or if they are made for private use.

– This happens from time to time. Neighbors who have any tips or have noticed anything are asked to contact us on 02800.

And Camilla and her family are not the only ones who have experienced this in our counties in recent months.

In November, the same thing happened to Andre at Lambertseter. And that happened over the weekend. A few days before Christmas, another of Abiltzow's neighbors experienced the same thing.

– It will be expensive to store

On the morning of Saturday, November 4, Andre Lesto of Muncalia woke up to someone knocking on his door.

He told Nordstrands Plat that he didn't understand a bit, but the person who knocked on the door said his car had been stolen. Andre drove a car with no tires or rims.

– I am very happy with my car and treat it well. It hasn't even been a year, Lesto said in November.

The car was parked in his own car park at a housing association in Munkelia, which Lesto had last used the day before.

He feared major damage to the car.

– I'm afraid it's more extensive than getting new wheels on a car. They may have damaged the battery and other items while jacking it up. No use standing on stones, exactly, he says.

– This is really sour money. I'm afraid.
