The Oscars took place last night, with comedian and host Jimmy Kimmel guiding viewers through the long-running program.

Before handing out the final award of the evening, he was able to tell viewers and the audience that former President Donald Trump had something to say about the evening's host, drawing great laughter from the audience.

Furthermore, he wrote that Kimmel is trying too hard to be something he's not.

“Get rid of Kimmel and maybe replace him with another outdated but cheap ABC talent, George Slopanopoulos. He would make everyone on stage look bigger, stronger and more glamorous. It's also a very politically correct show, and for years it was very incoherent, boring and unfair.” Why don't they give the Oscar to whoever deserves it? By “George Slopanopoulos,” Trump refers to George Stephanopoulos, the former White House communications director and ABC News journalist. In recent years, he led special live coverage of political events on ABC News.
