Rocky Mountains: – Fell 90 meters high

A 21-year-old woman died in the Rocky Mountains of the United States of America on Saturday, after falling more than 90 metres.

A man was seriously injured

The woman – who has not been identified – was traveling with a 25-year-old man. They were on their way down a steep rock wall when they both fell.

The man survived the fall, but was seriously injured.

The press release stated that bystanders alerted employees at the park, who called an ambulance.

He fell 152 meters to his death


The man was flown by helicopter to the hospital. 31 people took part in the rescue operation.

Due to the difficult weather conditions in the area, the rescue teams were unable to take the woman’s body away.

under investigation

The park states that the incident is now under investigation, and that it is currently uncertain what caused the man and woman to fall.

The press release also states that the woman’s name will be released once she has been identified and the family notified.

The death is the fourth in the Rocky Mountain National Park so far this year. The other three fatal accidents occurred in July.
