There have been several reports of minor fires around Tramman and Lear on Sunday evening between 8pm and midnight.
The fire soon came under control and no one was injured, but police, fearing that a firefighter had loosened up, hunted down large resources.
– Otter Steinstein, operations manager at the Sør-Aust police district, tells NRK that it will not start burning in the trash without further ado.
Detected by police dog
Fires have been reported at Galterud School in Fjell / Austad, Hallermoen School in Konnerud, Svensedammen School, Konnerud, Laurits Grnlands vei in Fjell, Seebergs vei, Lier, Brakerøya and Nøsteveien Lier.
When the sixth and seventh fires were reported, police dogs were able to locate her teenager.
She was found at the scene of the fire in two trash cans, and a search with a police dog went in her direction. Police said on Twitter at midnight. She will be tried in this case.
Police suspect she may have copied the firefighters in the tram, write Tramens Tidende.
I saw the crackers
Some of those who complained to the police must have seen the burning. Steinstowe says they will carry out investigations and talk more with witnesses.
– Criminal proceedings will be instituted for all fire accidents.
Steinstowe says some fires were triggered by firecrackers. Witnesses are said to have first seen the crackers, then the flames.
– If so, one might say it’s probably intentional, says the operations manager.
