More than 1.5 million Norwegians have participated in the popular app.

In a press release, TikTok summarized what Norwegians have been involved with on the platform over the past year.

Meanwhile, the company revealed for the first time that up to 1.6 million Norwegians actively use TikTok every month.

The most famous TikTokers in Norway

Among the most famous Norwegian creatives we find everything from 61-year-old Peter Stordalen to influencers like Julie Lorentzen.

We find on the list the elegant Yasmine Hero, who created this trend earlier in 2023 to show off her fashion.

The video has been recreated by international stars such as Sofia Richie.

Videos that went viral on TikTok

In the list of trending clips on TikTok in the past year, we find everything from Norway’s Haaland in training for the national team, to Kurt (57) from Harried El and Bonader and Lea Isadora Behn’s preparations for the new semester.

Popular: Leah Isadora Behn has become a TikTok fan favorite.  One of her videos took off in full this fall.

In the category of new shooting stars of 2023, we find, among others, @yasminheroo, who started global trends recreated by some of the world’s biggest stars, and @Mankegard, who created long queues outside a bakery in Porsgrunn after the video.

In this year’s list of achievements we find, among others, Trygve Bennetsen, who achieved great success on TikTok by presenting hysterical stories from his private life.

Norway’s new major export, Peder Elias, and his song “Paper Plane” top the list of most used songs by Norwegian content creators.
