Pebbles, a toy fox terrier from the USA, has become the oldest dog in the world. She died on Monday, October 3, at her home in Taylors, a town in South Carolina.

The death was first reported before Guinness World RecordsIt was later mentioned by many international media.

Peebles turned 22, and was five months away from his 23rd birthday.

The dog was first recognized as the world’s oldest dog earlier this year. In April, Guinness named Toby Keith, a 21-year-old Chihuahua, as the world’s oldest dog.

When Pebbles owners, Bobby and Julie Gregory, discovered the prize, they had to say their dog was older.

Pebbles was born on March 28, 2000. She lived a long and happy life, during her lifetime she became the mother of 32 puppies.

Julie Gregory runs an Instagram account dedicated to her pet. The account has 7,434 followers and 69 posts. Gregory released a press release with information about the dog’s death.

Pebbles weighed four kilograms, loved to listen to country music and was happy to try new foods.

Gregory wrote: – It was an honor to have her as a pet and a member of her family.

There has never been anyone who has met Pebbles or who has not loved her. She concludes that she will be sorely missed.
