Håkon Wibe Lunde and Bjørn Petter Ingebretsen are stepping down as head coaches at Strømsgodset.
The club itself reports this on its own sites.
We had a good and close dialogue with the club. We’ve come to the conclusion that now is the time to step aside and allow new forces to push Strömsgodset forward, Håkon Wibe-Lund tells the club’s website.

Sunday’s final against Bodø/Glimt will be the duo’s last match as coaches for the club. The coaching staff and the playing squad were briefed ahead of Saturday’s training.
The two coaches took charge at Strømsgodset in April 2021. In their first season, Strømsgodset finished ninth in Eliteserien. Prior to the series’ final round, the Drammens finished 12th.
We look back at two intense seasons, as we worked hard to bring the club together and create a better foundation for the future. We feel Strømsgodset is in a better place now than when we took on the job, says Wibe-Lund, although it’s disappointing we weren’t able to build on progress this fall.
– Wibe and BP lifted Strømsgodset from a very difficult sporting position last year. They helped bring the club together so we’re back on the right track. It requires respect. They did a good job, but now they feel that’s enough. It’s an honest and big decision, says Strømsgodset’s Head of Sports and Player Development, Justin Flo.
