Wolf of Wall Street – Wrecked Lamborghini for sale – E24

The luxury car from the hit movie starring Leonardo DiCaprio will be sold at auction. The price is about 20 million Norwegian kroner.

The Wolf of Wall Street follows the glamorous and chaotic life of Jordan Belfort on Wall Street in the 1980s.

In the film, a drunken Belfort, played by DiCaprio, drives home from the local golf club. On the way, he encounters a number of things that he does not discover for himself until the next day.

Now the car, a 1989 Lamborghini Countach, is up for sale at Bonhams auction house in Abu Dhabi.

The price of the car wreck is estimated at between $1.5 and $2 million. This corresponds to between 16.7 and 22.3 million Norwegian kroner at today’s exchange rate.

Rare model

It is not unusual for Hollywood paraphernalia to be auctioned off at high prices.

Bonhams wrote that they are selling the car in what they call a “conserved to pictured standard.” The new owner of the car wreck will also receive DiCaprio’s character clothing as part of their purchase.

The car is a rare American 25th anniversary model. according to Sotheby’s No more than 657 copies of this were produced.

Two cars were used in the film. The small differences between the two Countach models make it easy to tell which car was used in which scene.

The abandoned sister car is expected to be auctioned for a similar price at Sotheby’s, according to the magazine. Rob reports.
