Caroline Graham-Hansen has suffered an ankle injury, but remains in national team coach Leif Gunnar Smerud’s squad for the matches against France.
That became clear when Smerud announced the team at Olival Stadium on Monday. The two matches will be held in the National League on October 27 and 31.
– We hope it’s ready. “We will get a little closer to whether or not it will be,” Smerud said of the Barcelona player.
Graham Hansen missed Barcelona’s match on Sunday due to a sprained ankle.
Hegerberg will not participate despite her return from injury.
-This set comes very quickly. Smerud said that she had been playing a little bit with Lyon, but after a period of some injuries again, it is important that she uses her time well.
After the first two matches, Norway is in third place in its group with one point. France leads with a full pot. Only group winners go to the National League playoffs and play for an Olympic ticket. That hope is lost, so to speak, but Norway has a lot to play for: last place drops to the second division, and third place must play out qualification to avoid relegation.
France will come to Olival on October 27. Four days later, the two teams will meet in France.
