Bear Hunting and Whore: Hefeder Besseberg is tricked into a Russian trap

Bergen (VG) Corruption accused Anders Beseberg (77) was subjected to retaliation and a crap package as part of a power struggle, says former head of care at DNB, Jacob Lund.

This is what Lund says in the VG program “Skandalepresidenten”.

The podcast examines the downfall of Anders Pieseberg, who ruled international biathlon for more than 25 years. Today he faces accusations of gross corruption since his time as president of the International Biathlon Union (IBU).

– It was about the struggle for power, says Jacob Lund.

Okokrim’s indictment mentioned luxury watches, fishing trips and prostitutes.

The focus of the case is Russian sports and doping. The trial begins in Hoksund on January 9.

– What I know nothing about is what I have not seen. But watches and prostitutes… I don’t think so about him. It’s very easy. “He’s not the type,” Lund says in “Skandalepresidenten.”

He himself has been asked to be a witness in the trial that begins in Drammen on 9 January. Illness prevents it from appearing

“I think this is revenge and a goal to get Anders away,” Lund says.

He cites a concrete example to illustrate what he believes to be a power struggle between Pieseberg and the Russian who constantly challenged him in the power struggle: Alexander Tikhonov.

Lund believes that in the early 2000s, Tikhonov was salivating while serving as IBU president.

During the season finale in Russia, he and Bseberg were invited to chase a helicopter in Siberia. Tikhonov, a local politician, and several other powerful Russian figures joined.

While the International Biathlon Union (IBU) was headed by Norwegian Anders Bseberg (77), Tore Boegaard (71) saw that…

Old friend: Jakob Lund (pictured) believes in Anders Bseberg.

He adds that they carried on board many boxes of vodka and many boxes of wine.

Jacob Lund was terrified. The Russian pilot fell toward what he thought was a bear den.

Anders Bseberg – who is a keen hunter – “only” ended up shooting a reindeer that day.

Lund says the Norwegians bathed naked in a hot spring outside the lavo where the Ukrainian prostitute and Russian men were.

– We drank and enjoyed ourselves. But the clock is ticking. It was the closing day of the World Cup, so Anders was scheduled to give a speech. “We have to get back. It takes three hours!” So I am.

“I quickly realized that we would never achieve that,” Lund says today. And this is where the Russians are believed to have carried out their plan:

Because when Bseberg returned to the biathlon party, it was all over. The participants left the room and watched the Norwegians.

– The whole thing was a trap to corrupt us. Tikhonov wanted his job. The story was later picked up as well: The Andes were said to have prioritized bear hunting and partying over biathlon. It was part of the game. But he says it was a great experience to see the power play the Russians play to get things their way.

VG confronted Alexander Tikhonov with the content of the podcast “Skandalepresidenten”, including the story that Jacob Lund tells in this case.

Through his wife, Maria, who rejects the Russian language and considers it nonsense.

VG also faced Anders Besseberg’s lawyers in the case.

Bisseberg's rival: Russian Alexander Tikhonov.

Lawyer Mikkel Toft Gemsi wrote in an email to VG that the 77-year-old would explain his position in court in January, and that he did not want to proceed with the case in the media.

Jakob Lund says five years of police investigations and an upcoming trial have taken their toll on 77-year-old Anders Bisberg. Lund is confident that his old friend has not done anything criminal.

-I think he feels frustrated in Norway after it collapsed. The former Shepherd King says people are afraid to say what they think.
