Guru Fostervold Tveddin (48), known since his days as a journalist and presenter on TV2, has connected with many by sharing his own experiences with the challenges of everyday life. She seems to have struck a chord with many, and her openness has created a resonance of recognition.

Tvedten is a well-known face, especially among sports fans. She started as a sports presenter on TV2 as early as 1999, and has since covered a large number of major events in Norway and abroad.

Her latest move into the personal space has been to share updates about her family life on social media. These insights, along with news from her working life, have become a common part of many people’s daily news feeds.

This is her last Instagram post, and this is what she wrote in her own words:

– How can I stop time? More and more we realize that there are only a few years left until children do not need us parents as much. Of course, it’s completely normal and very healthy when they’re away from home and have to find their own way. But my identity is closely tied to being a mother, so it’s probably weird and painful and maybe even cute. How to get used to the fact that children are no longer small and in a few years will go their own way?
