Instagram takes action after Princess Kate photo blunder

The biggest talking point of the past week was undoubtedly the blunder that Princess Kate (42) made on Sunday. The Instagram post, which was probably intended as a comforting Mother's Day post, was later ripped up by all the experts and would-be fans.

The reason is that the photo Kate shared was doctored, which she herself quickly admitted.

“Like many amateur photographers, I experiment with editing. I want to apologize for causing confusion regarding the family photo we shared yesterday,” Princess Kate wrote on Instagram on Monday morning.

It is believed that the only reason for publishing the photo was that the princess was under tremendous pressure from people who wanted a photo of her and to know her condition.

The photo was the first shared by the royal house after the princess was admitted to hospital in January for a planned stomach surgery. Kate is still on sick leave.
