Investor Sjur Thorsheim thus follows in the footsteps of many wealthy Norwegians, including Kjell Inge Røkke.

In the 1990s, Sjur Thorsheim gave Sector Alarm a convertible loan of NOK four million when the banks said no. The company grew into one of Norway’s largest alarm companies, and Capital writes that Thorsheim earned NOK 650 million by reducing his stake from 20 percent.
He now manages money through investment firm Pro and has invested in Quantafuel, according to E24’s investor lists.
In 2021, he had taxable assets of NOK 383 million, writes TN.
