Through the podcast “Jan Thomas and Einar Become Friends,” designer Jan Thomas (56) and presenter Einar Tornquist (41) have, you guessed it, become friends.
The duo started podcasting in fall 2018, and the friendship has blossomed ever since.
– he started like crazy
The podcast quickly gained a large following, and in 2019, fans also followed Jan Thomas and Tornquist on TV in the series of the same name.
Now the couple will again appear on television, as they will now be part of the new comedy project for TV 2.
The channel writes in a press release.
– You’ll hardly find a more energetic duo than Jan Thomas and Einar Tørnquist. These are two people who have known each other well through many years of collaboration, and now we are looking forward to seeing the duo on TV2. This will be a program that is sure to surprise viewers, says TV2 Press Director Jan-Peter Dahl.
Writers draw: – Embarrassed
Both the series’ concept and name are currently classified, but Tørnquist can reveal enough that it’s a competition of sorts.
– In a way, this will be something that we as presenters have not encountered before, that is, a competition-driven program. It’s a competition in which everyone loses the most, Tornquist says, ourselves included.
– This is an exciting investment from TV 2, just a spunky and entertaining concept. We are very excited.
Jan Thomas can also promise that the program will present many surprises, both for viewers and participants.
The yet-untitled show will hit screens sometime next year.
